چکیده
Electromagnetic forming process is a high velocity technique which widely used in automotive and aerospace sectors for joining metallic sheet/tubes. The geometrical structure of compression coil has significant effect on the performance system terms current output deformation workpiece. present work aims to analyse structural parameters like cross-section turns (X), pitch circular diameter (PCD) effective turn (n) using both experimental numerical simulation. A bitter variable been considered see its by deforming an AA6061 tube experimentally. Parameters magnetic field, velocity, Lorentz force, displacement stress are difficult measure experimentally but have indication EMF. trends numerically predicated find good agreement with value tube. FE simulation carried out correlate results. results indicate that n higher significance as compared X PCD coil.
